New Flexible & Affordable Addiction Recovery Program

By September 22, 2018 No Comments

Here at Seasons Bali, we are committed to helping people recover from drug and alcohol program in the most effective way possible. While everyone struggling with addiction shares some common characteristics, every addict has unique problems and needs. That’s why we have designed a new, flexible to helping addicts get clean and get a good start on the road of recovery. This approach makes addiction recovery treatment more affordable too. Please read on to learn about our new flexible and affordable addiction recovery program.

Our Flexible Addiction Rehab Philosophy

Millions of people have sought treatment for addiction and succeeded in getting their lives back and staying in recovery, and you can too. We base everything in our rehab programs on evidenced-based best practices developed through the experience of thousands of practitioners serving millions of clients and studying what works well — and what works even better.

For a while now, addiction recovery professionals have recognized that 90-day programs yield better results than 30-day programs. But we also know that people don’t want to be locked down in strictly scheduled highly supervised in-patient rehab for three months. And recently, people studying the process of addiction recovery have amassed strong evidence that this is not the best approach.

People who want to recover from addiction need to gradually begin to take increasing control of their lives and practice staying clean without constant supervision. The best approach, we have learned, is to gradually increase the amount of freedom and responsibility that our clients have. That’s why we have broken up our programs to offer graduated steps towards independence, beginning with our primary program, advancing to the secondary program, and finally completing the tertiary program where you have maximum independence but still get the support you need. As an added bonus, reducing the amount of supervision reduces your costs and makes rehab more affordable. Each client proceeds through the stages of the program at their own speed in consultation with recovery staff.

For those who don’t have the time or can’t afford the full 90 days, we still offer 2-week medically supervised detox and one month in patient recovery. Now let’s take a look at our three-step approach to helping addicts get free from addiction and regain control of their lives.

Primary Affordable Addiction Recovery Program

When you first begin to get clean and turn away from addiction, you need a lot of support. Some clients may need medical care to get off drugs like alcohol, narcotics, or pharmaceuticals safely. During the primary care stage, our clients stay in a luxurious villa compound with 24/7 on-site staffing, including qualified medical professionals day and night to make sure you get the support they need. We also have an onsite chef who will provide you with healthy, creative and delicious meals every day.

Your time in primary care will not be spent idly. You’ll have a full schedule of supported activities to keep you focused on your project of recovery. Five days a week you will have group therapy and education sessions, and once a week you will have a private one-on-one counseling session with one of our expert therapists. You will also participate in regularly scheduled group activities including yoga, drama therapy, art therapy, meditation, 12 step programs, exercise sessions on Bali’s beautiful beaches, and weekend excursions and other healthy group leisure activities.

Progressing From The Primary Program

Some patients will need to remain in the primary care stage for the entire three months, particularly those suffering from unstable dual diagnosis (other mental health problems that overlap with addiction) or medical necessities arising from addiction to prescription drugs. The community and clinical team must agree that the patient is ready for the next step. But as soon as you are ready, our team will send you forward to the next stage to practice managing your life in an increasingly independent setting.

While in the primary stage, you can select additional options from our holistic wellness program and work through important interpersonal issues in our family program. The family program is only available during the primary stage. The holistic wellness program is available to clients in all stages of progress.

Secondary Program

When you have made sufficient progress in our heavily supervised primary program, you will be ready to take on the challenge of additional freedom in our secondary program. You will still have access to medical professionals, but they will be on call, not on site, which reduces our costs and price quite a bit. Your new home will be a lovely villa in a residential area that you will share with other recovering addicts. The villa has housekeeping staff, but not a chef. You will take on the responsibility of managing the house food budget together and cooking your own meals, and you are free to go out to eat at the delightful local restaurants as you please.

The Secondary Program gives the clients far more independence and responsibility while still under the supervision of our experienced team. There are plenty of opportunities to explore new experience in Bali. It is important to begin to make your own responsible decisions, guided by what you have learned about stress and addiction triggers. By doing so, you practice the skills you will need to stay clean and sober after you leave the program.

You will still have your regular mandatory group sessions, educational sessions and one-on-one therapy, but you are free to choose to participate in all the other primary program activities when you please or schedule your own free time in other ways. After you complete your 90 combined days in the primary and secondary programs, your dedicated therapist may recommend that you opt to participate in the tertiary program.

Tertiary Program – Transitional Housing

In the optional tertiary stage, you will live almost entirely independently, but you will still have access to the support of our staff whenever you need it. In this stage you will practice the skills you have learned in therapy, consolidating the benefits of your hard work and preparing to return home and continue to practice the skills you have learned to stay clean and sober, one day at a time. Your goal will be to safely rediscover complete freedom and re-engage with life joyfully, managing stress and discovering what makes you truly happy. Recovery is hard, but it is worth the work. Imagine yourself in this final stage, confident and in relaxed control, happy and free from addiction. You can do it!
