Richard is the Founder, Director and Head of the Clinical Team at Seasons Bali. He specialises in addictive behaviour and affective change. After 17 years of active addiction, Richard got clean and sober in 1985. He has spent his entire recovery working with addicts, alcoholics and their families. Richard held various positions in major health care institutions in Victoria before starting his own facility, the Raymond Hader Clinic, in 1998. His vision had always been to create a program that would treat drug and alcohol problems holistically. What started as a counselling practice eventually grew into one of the country’s most respected treatment centres. Recognising a need for a program that provided a more exclusive service, and having experienced the idyllic surrounds and peaceful healing energy of Bali, Richard founded the Seasons Bali Program. Richard is a dedicated and gifted practitioner who has helped many people change their lives. Watch videos of Richard Smith on Australian Television.
